About Vaughn J. Buffalo
Vaughn Buffalo is the Managing Partner of the Firm. Mr. Buffalo has practiced corporate law for over 25 years, advising companies in all phases of the corporate life cycle. Recently, Mr. Buffalo has focused his practice on mergers and acquisitions transactions, generally less than $15 million in transaction value. In the past five years, Mr. Buffalo has advised clients in connection with over 25 completed merger and acquisition transactions acting as counsel to both buyers and sellers. He has industry expertise in traditional wholesale clothing, jewelry, distribution, apiary and beekeeping, software, industrial gas and clean tech industries.
Prior to establishing Buffalo & Associates in 2003, Mr. Buffalo worked as General Counsel and Director of Business Development for eBricks.com, where he helped guide the company through the investment and acquisition process. Prior to that, Mr. Buffalo worked for Mayer, Brown LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP for a combined seven years following his graduation from Columbia Law School and Harvard College. Mr. Buffalo is admitted to the bar of New York.

About Emily Renner
Emily Renner is a Corporate Associate at the Firm. Her practice focuses on both domestic and overseas mergers and acquisitions in the $5-$15 million range specifically in the industrial gas, jewelry and apiary and beekeeping industries. She also advises startups on the business formation process. Before joining the firm, Mrs. Renner worked at Balestriere Fariello in New York City and Lourie & Cutler in Boston Massachusetts.
Ms. Renner is also the Managing Director of OCVC Labs, Inc., a New York nonprofit with a mission to educate small business owners to become smart legal consumers.
Ms. Renner joined Buffalo & Associates in 2014. She earned her J.D. in 2014 from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and her B.A. in 2010 from Fordham University in New York City. She is admitted to the bar of New York.
